Description of Practice/Services Offered

Center for Love and Sex is a private therapy practice directed by Sari Cooper and located on the UWS and midtown neighborhoods of NYC. Sari and her team see individual adults and couples seeking both general psychotherapy, pre-marital counselling and specific sex therapy treatment. We are experienced treating clients from the LGBTQ community as well as those clients who belong to Kink and Non-Monogamy communities. Sari Cooper has 20+ year experience in private practice and supervises and teaches other therapists through webinars and workshops. We see clients from the Indian, Hassidic, Orthodox, Muslim, Hispanic and Anglo communities in and around NYC.

Sari offers Sex Coaching for those clients who travel frequently or live out of the NYC area.

Common disorders we treat successfully include: Discrepant Desire, Erectile Disorder, Premature Ejaculation, Pelvic Pain, Low Desire, Out of Control Sexual Behavior, Anxiety/Panic Disorder, and Depression.

The affiliate therapist(s) consult regularly with Sari Cooper. Our CLS team uses psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy, CBT, meditation, mindfulness and traditional and innovative Sex Therapy interventions in the practice.

Clients may come in on their own or with their partners.
