While her focus is on women dealing with reproductive health issues and postpartum mental health, depression and anxiety. Dr. Schwarz also provides general psychiatric services. She has significant experience in the psychiatric support for patients of MS, chronic diseases, and post-operative adjustment issues.
Melanie Schwarz, M.D. is a private practice psychiatrist focused on reproductive psychiatry and the psychology and medical treatment of women. She has lengthy and diverse experience with patients in this arena dealing with reproductive depression, anxiety and other issues.

Dr. Schwarz graduated from the Einstein School of Medicine in 1995. She has served on the staffs of Bellevue Hospital, NYU, Lenox Hill, and Maimonides Medical Center.
