Talya Kook, PsyD is a clinical psychologist who has a wide range of experience working intensively with children, adolescents, young adults and their families. Areas of treatment include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and behavioral difficulties. Dr. Kook works with clients who are struggling to manage issues such as life stressors, school problems, family conflict, emotional regulation and social functioning. Dr. Kook will utilize CBT and psychodynamic approaches in therapy. She believes in an integrative treatment approach that must be tailored to the individual. Dr. Kook has a strong background in psychological assessment, which includes psycho-educational testing, as well as diagnostic formulation and school consultation.
