Dr. Sarah Mandel is a clinical psychologist who specializes in maternal mental health. She provides cognitive-behavioral therapy to individuals and couples who are seeking to conceive, are currently pregnant, postpartum, have experienced pregnancy loss, or stressful birth experience. With care and expertise in research-supported psychotherapy approaches, Dr. Mandel helps to improve functioning and reduce distress in her clients’ lives.
Dr. Mandel provides psychotherapy with clients of all backgrounds. She is an LGBT-affirmative therapist and celebrates the many ways in which one can create a family. The goal with all of her clients is to understand each unique individual or couple and provide treatment that is respectful, culturally congruent, effective, and empowering.
